HOW IS SUPER DIESEL DIFFERENT from regular diesel, branded or otherwise?

Higher cetane number. The British standard for diesel fuel quality is BS EN590. EN590 stipulates a minimum cetane number of 51, but Super diesel fuel is usually 54 or more. This is achieved by adding 2-Ethylhexyl Nitrate (2-EHN). There is no secret formula, and 2-EHN is the worldwide standard for raising the cetane number in road diesel fuels. Diesel Power DNA delivers the same high-quality 2-EHN. We only use regularly-tested 99.9% pure, undiluted 2-EHN. Diesel Power DNA will deliver up to a 5-point increase and Diesel Race DNA up to 8 points!

Fuel lubricant. 2-EHN cetane improver is inherently dry, so additional lubricant is essential.However, most fuels and competitor fuel additives use conventional mono-acid or similar technology, and such lubricants don’t perform well with additional 2-EHN.
Both Diesel Power DNA and Diesel Race DNA use Oilsyn’s proprietary Orisyn ester-based lubricant, which is not impacted by the use of 2-EHN. It delivers the lowest ever HFRR result in a diesel fuel lubricant (<180nm) and is not available in any other diesel additive.
